Hi Roy,
My mother is a middle aged lady;I had a well to do family in my native country;we are two brothers,working now;I am younger and now is a PR;I would never thought that could happen to me ever;few months back I lost my father in a sudden death;my mother couldn´t tolerate such a big trauma and went into severe depression;people started ill treating her because she was left alone,so she had to shut off her business;when we went to see her,we brothers couldn´t see her condition she was on medication;my elder brother took her with him to England,when her visa expired;I took her here;now her visa is going to expire;I am really worried about her;sponsorship was only hope now that is also gone;I did consult to a lawyer so he said, your mom´s case is a strong case of H&C,he also said she is healthy(except on medication for depression)not even old can work and has funds.I want to get your advise.Should I go for H & C or not or is there any other way.Although my mother is least interested in immigration but I can never leave her alone on friends and neighbours,.

based on what you have told us, I fail to see how you story is any different than every family class sponsorship out there. Not sure why she would qualify for an H&C.
