Subject: PRRA processing time in Toronto
I applied for PRRA last year December, but i haven´t heard anything yet from them. I was told that the processing time is between 2-6 months after the 30 days. Is there any delay in the processing? Some people that applied in May/June 2011,some have gotten their decision. I hope i´m on the right track? I spoke with one of the CBSA agent, he said my case is still ´´PENDING´´,that my application is still in process´´.

R U serious that your calling CBSA and saying I´m here render a decision?

Under 1% are approved, why are you seeking a decision?

Add more relevant stuff to your PRRA submission and keep adding stuff if you believe that you (now) seriously face a risk to your life because something has changed since you lost your refugee claim.

Hi Roy, thanks for the support. I don´t have the idea of calling the CBSA,but an agent told me that to be doing so. She said the really don´t have any access to PRRA applications online. Now i know and i´ll go with your advice. I have updated more than 8 different times, and i´ll continue to be doing so.Aside my Refugee claims, something very significant happen, and that is what i´m really banking on. Good and substantial documents were given to them already. Less i forget, i have H&c in process as well. Henceforth, i´ll stop calling them.

A PRRA officer reviews the H&C and PRRA applications together and renders a decision. The decision is handed in person by a CBSA officer.

Thank you Anonymous 232.244.253. Thank you for that information. I was told the same too that the H&c application will have impact on my PRRA application. I was only concern, because i was told it would take between 2-6 months from the day i sent in my final paper work. I´m not in a rush, but am very cautious with Canadian and CBSA. You never can tell. I´m only trying to monitor my application..laughing

Hello Hussein, well did you file appeal your H&C after the outcome? did you just accepted the final decisions the way it came to you? well if your PRRA and H&C was denied last two years, were you given any deportation order or what? Two years is pretty too much, except you appeal the decision. Do you have a legal representative? If now you really need to get one. He/She will give you a candid advice. In some instance,if you chose to stay wit any legal battle against immigration; make sure you´re spending to the right channel. At a point, you just have to go back and re-apply for any other application from you country or whatsoever. Please make sure you think twice and don´t be desperate. The more you go desperate, the more your lawyer will consume your money.

Hi again
Thanks for the quick reply
Yes i appealed Both H&C and prra and both appeals did not go through .
The only reason why CBSA could not deport us is the travel documents , it took them long time to obtain them.
I´m not willing to pay more money on this issue , but what i heard that i have the right to get another prra chance since the one i had was over one year.
Is this true?

Pls advice

Thank you
