| Subject: Regarding work experience Letter |

In the Checklist(E37048 form) for applying to Canada under skilled work Category there is a requirement which says the following:
"Notarized Employment Contract from your present or past employers,accompanied by English or French Translation"
Can some tell me what this means?How is this different from "reference letters" and who is supposed to sign this?Any help with this is greatly appreciated.Thanks!!!!

This is obviously different from the reference letter. This refers to your "LETTER OF APPOINTMENT". You need to get a Lawyer notarize a photocopy of it and then add to original letters of reference collected from your employers.

Working contract has to mention about duties, salaries, bonus, terms, requirement, and timeline stuff, do you have idea what??s difference between contract and reference letter? Contract is a legal employment agreement. Person who sign contract should be your HR supervisor or manager, or person who in charge of you. It can be the same person as the person who signed your reference letter

Hi guys,The contact or "appointment letter" from one of my previous employers is 4 years old now.But, It includes all stuff like duties, sal etc and signed by HR manager.Can I use this and get it notarized by an attorney.Caz, I don´t think they will help me now by giving a new letter.Also I have "reference letter" from that same company which is two years old.People who worked with me before, say my boss, is not there anymore.Can i use this old reference letter and give an explanation while submitting my forms?Please advice..Thankyou.
