Subject: landing time |
How much time do you have to get things in order from the time your application is approved until the time you have to leave for Canada? Is there a deadline on when you must land in Canada? what happens if you cannot depart on the specified date?

(in reply to: landing time) 1) This is totally up to you and your status in your home country. Leaving job, selling car, selling home, closing bank accounts, etc. So you the one to decide that.
2) Landing expiry date is 12 month from the date you had your medical test done.
3) You have to apply again if you missed the expiry date of your visa. Sometimes CIC accepts another medical test so the expiry to be after anopther year from the new test.
Good luck

How far can I postpone my 2nd medical test (in reply to: landing time) I told the consulate that I can not land before the medical test expiry date.
Then they send me new meidcal test forms.
Because I am working at US and waiting for the US green card, i want to postpone it as long as possible.
So when do I have to take the 2nd medial exam and to land?
