Subject: Available options ?
What are the available options for someone who was refused permanenet residence via H & C by Canadian Immigration & who filled out the PRRA & has an appointment with Airport Road on shortly?

This person has a five year old Canadian child who will have to leave also as a result. The child is currently in school & involved in a number of programmes in Canada & definitely will be at a disadvantage returning with the parent.

Does the parent have any other avenue via immigration to be able to stay with their child or is it too late?

If the mother has to return is it possible to be accepted under The live in Care Giver programme if the person has a sponsor? What are the possibilities. The person has a certificate from Canada in Early childhood care, does this help?

Thanks for your response

HARD REALITY (in reply to: Available options ?)
Do what´s best for her and her family (child)!

Leave her child here or take her.

And apply outside Canada for Care Giver program.

Thank you for your interest shown in Canada.

"Thank you for your interest shown in Canada."
What are thank him for?

Unless you can prove that the Canadian child is going to face hardship or not being able to obtain a specific medical or educational program if he/she returns to their parent´s country of nationality all of you are out of luck.

Your H&C is done, your chances of winning your PRRA are slim to none.

The Care giver program? Do you really think that someone who has been deported with a Canadian child is going to get a temporary permit to re-enter Canada?

That is a shot in the dark.
One option would be to obtain a PNP certificate, apply for PR outside of Canada. Send the application in along with an ARC.

That being said, she has to qualify as a CG and meet the criteria. If she is one of those phony applications where everybody think that they can be a nanny, think again.

Thanks for the replies. Thanks Doc D for the suggestion of the PNP certificate. Would she have to apply for the PNP before she leaves Canada or can it be done from outside? To your point above - she has a certificate in early childhood care - would that count for anything. Can you please point me to the website where I can get the relevant information to pass on. I really would like to help as best as I can

Thanks again

The PNP varies between provinces.

You have to look into the province and its programs. If it is available in the province where she resides, that is something that the employer has to deal with not the applicant.

TROLL´s or representatives who use that phrase,

"Thank You for your Interest shown in Canada" ***.32.33.244 Anonymous

There is all kinds of options open to you. NEVER listen to anyone who says take your kid with you or leave your kid behind.

Your child will never get a Canadian Passport unless the biological father named signs the PPT application. CBSA MUST be alive, alert and sensitive to the best interest of the child.

If you leave your child with children´s aid they will deem that child abandoned in six months and put the child up for adoption.

If you leave you will require an ARC authorization to return to come back and only exceptional circumstances would allow that.
