Subject: adoption and sponsor my natural child |

Hi, everyone
I am the biological father of my illegitimate daughter which I declared on the birth certificate. Must I go through adoption to sponsor the dependent child? Or just need her biological mother to claim to give up custody will do? I am not sure what is the difference?
If I must do a adoption once I prove paternity relationship. Will the birth certificate a solid proof ? Or must I go through a DNA test?
Do I need to go back to the country to proceed the adoption? Do we need to go through a lawyer or/and the country´s family court? Or by just using the forms provided from the Canada immigration will do?
By the way, right now, the mother and my child are in Singapore, what is the specific relevant adoption steps for Singapore? Anyone have similar experience or knowledge about it?
Thanks a lot
Best Regards

(in reply to: adoption and sponsor my natural child) Wonder what the current wife is thinking...a child outside marriage, sure thinking outside the box.
