Subject: Canada Immigration
Well, i have a query.

I have around 4 years experience in IT services and recently acquired a master´s degree in UK. I would like to know if my prospects are good enough to immigrate to Canada.

Kindly help.

There are no IT occupations on the current Federal skilled worker occupation list. This means that if you want to apply through the federal program - you will need a job offer in Canada first.

As an alternative, you can try looking at the Provincial Nominee programs to see if you might qualify for one of those. Each province has its own requirements so you´ll have to research each to see if you qualify (some require job offers). Quebec might be a good choice if you know French.

Thank you for your reply.

And to add to it, my partner is a MBA graduate, would that help us to immigrate to Canada?

Appreciate your help.

You´ll get additional points for your partner´s education. But you still need to find an immigration stream you qualify for.
