| Subject: Passport Renewal |

Hello. I´m very eager to know if CIC won´t take it against our application if we happen to renew my passport in the middle of our wait for a decision (June 2012 passport expiration). My husband and I have submitted already CIC´s request for security clearances, paid our PR fees and was told by the accredited medical clinic that they have forwarded our medical results. All of these are right on target in terms of CIC´s deadline to us.
We have initially considered not renewing my passport yet, but it makes more sense to do it this January for any possible future travels and better to have the PRvisa on new passport (cross fingers...). CIC was informed through email last Dec 2011 abt our intention to renew come Jan 2012.
