I am planning to immigrate to Canada(Quebec) from the US and I will be sponsored by my boyfriend. The problem is that I am not sure what category we should file for because we are not married, common-law, and have not lived together, but we are planning to get married once I acquire my residency. Does anyone know how we can go about this? Also I don´t qualify in any other category (skilled worker etc.). I would really appreciate it if someone can help me with this matter. Thank you.

until you have been common law for 1 year or are married - you cannot sponsor him.
if you genuinely love each other - get married.
