Hi,
I am getting married in Feb, my would be wife has a visitors visa of Canada.
After marriage I am planning to apply PR for my wife from India and when i come back to canada, I would like to bring her with me on her visitors visa.
Would there be any problem if I do so?
Please advise.
Thanks
Abhay

(in reply to: Getting wife on visitors visa to Canada) It will probably be difficult for your wife to be approved for a visit visa.
To be approved for a visit visa, a person must prove they have strong ties to their home country and have no plans to remain in Canada long term. Since your wife will be married to a Canadian resident and the PR application will already be submitted, it will be difficult for her to prove she has no plans to remain in Canada long term.
You can certainly try to apply. However I would have a back-up plan since there´s a high chance of rejection.

Almost same question (in reply to: Getting wife on visitors visa to Canada) Hello
I have a question about bring my wife to Canada, I would appreciate if someone answer it.
I have a valid post-graduate work permit until 2015, and have plan to go back to my country to get married.
And I have a PR application in process, my question is which way is the fastest way for me to bring my wife to Canada, do you think that she can get visitor visa by my invitation before I add her to my PR application, or adding her to my application the fastest one. and if she refuses for visitor visa, does it have any bad effect for her future PR application?
Thanks a lot
