Subject: verification of sponsor info in CIC files
my partner is facing removal.we are concerned because there are no copies of IDs in CIC docs from his arrival in Canada 16yrs ago.we are confused by the "sponsor" families response to questions about his escape from the civil war and loss of his family.CIC docs do not list any of the people he arrived in his file.the sponsorship info states FNME: Refugee Assistance O GNME: RG Fort Erie with a file number. What the heck does that mean as the "aunt" supposedly sponsored him while the husband sponsored her and the children after waiting for the adoption of my partner to go through before they came to Canada to reunite.should all their names not be somewhere in his file at least once.shouldn´t a copy of any interview statements made by the aunt pertinent to his situation be in his file too.we had hoped to see the names of his parents as he blocked them out years ago.there is supposedly a great deal of maternal family but no one has given names after 6 months of direct requests.Any ideas?Thank you.
