| Subject: H&C stage 1 Approved...now what? |
My family and I were approved last Monday with the first stage of the H&C and I am just wondering how much longer until they send the letter requesting medical exams and police checks? and also interview?
Will it be more than one year? or two? or three????

If preliminary information indicates that you probably meet all statutory requirements of the IRP Act, you will receive a letter asking you to attend an interview at the immigration centre in your area. A final determination on your application for PR will be made at this interview.
This usually occurs about 12-24 months after date your visa exemption was approved.
It´s all in the letter you received. The waiting time varies from case to case.

It might take atleast a month to get a medical rquest forum from immigration as for as I know. BTW can u please share ur timeline i.e. when did u apply for h&C application? Thanks

i received requesting medical, passports, medical until may 2012
