Subject: PRRA application deadline
  Hi everyone.

I had a few questions regarding PRRA application and I am hoping someone here has the answers.

Is is possible to extend the deadline for submitting the supporting documents from the 15 day limit. Most of my documents are very sensitive and I do not think I will get them on time.

Also, if I mail in documents after the deadline will they consider them before making a decision? Or is it only limited to the documents they receive before deadline.

If anyone can help, please do soon as my deadline is in a few days.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Al,
You just have to do as they say. You can update your file in a month time when you get them, but make sure you submit all necessary document you have at hand. The decision can take 2 to 6 months from the day you submit your evidence. My advice for you is to give them whatever you have and later send in your update through BRO (Backlog Reduction Office in Vancouver). Don´t you have lawyer that can guide you through the process? If not, better get one. PRRA is the last option. You need to give it one shot or get kicked out.

Thank you for the reply Stephen.

I am sending all I have with me right now, and attaching a letter with it explaining why I need more time to get other documents.

I do have a lawyer, but wanted a second opinion.

Hopefully, they will accept the documents which I submit later.

Al,
You can keep updating your files as long before decision they finalize the decision. In a chain of event, things actually developed in a progressive manner. So as long as you have a good evidence to support your claim, just keep sending them in. I think PRRA decision statistics is about 3% nation wide. I´m not too sure though, but that is what i heard.
