I have heard in another forum and from a friend of mine here that the immigration asks the landed person to collect the PR in person rather than sending it to the mail address given by the landed person. That mostly happened in Toronto airport.
Does anyone has a clue? Is that really hapenning? Why?

Only for those who were in Canada and applied for PR card by mail. Since you are applying for the Card in person (at the airport) you don´t have to pick that up personally.
