Me and my wife have OHIP coverage for until Dec 2013. Currently I have a open post-graduate work permit, I do also work in an university. However, due to a job offer I may need to leave for France during September 2012. Well, the problem is my wife is pregnant and due date is in November. She also has an open work permit but works per-time.
I want the delivery to be in Canada as France is not covering pre-existing medical condition, moreover, it is also not safe to travel during that time.
I am worried if her OHIP coverage will be still valid when I leave Canada during September. I understand she has a valid work permit and OHIP during that time, but I will greatly relived if some could give me legal possibilities.
