HALLO FRIENDS
IAM GOERGE FROM INDIA WORKING AS CHIEF ENGINEER IN MARINE INDUSTRY IN A JAPAN BASED COMPANY.IAM BASICALLY A MECHANICAL ENGINEER GRADUATE AND THEN DID MARINE ENGINEERING.COULD ANYONE SUGGEST WILL IT BE A BETTER IDEA TO QUIT FROM MY PRESENT JOB AND TRY MY LUCK IN CANADA.

(in reply to: job oppurtunity for a marine chief engineer) First, you need to find out if you can practice engineering in Canada. Engineering is regulated in a provincial level.
Second, don´t quit your job. Once you determine that you are elegible to apply for a permanent resident status, you have to apply and wait in line OUTSIDE OF CANADA. The process will take a few years before is even approved.
Once approved then you can start making plans about moving to Canada. In the mean time, get yourself familiar with the process.
