Subject: Please refer immigration consultant/lawyer to me

I am Canadian born citizen planning on marrying someone I met from the Phillipines. I am looking for word of mouth referral to a good immigration consultant/lawyer to help me navigate all the laws, rules, regulations and application procedures.

I have been sifting through mounds of websites and good information. However, I am thoroughly confused, especially when it comes to government language and legalese.

Thank you for any help you provide.

There are a couple of people I am aware of that dole out some free advice and help file documents for free also, look them up.... they go by the names ROY and SHARON.... if you look hard, you will find them right on this board; if you are a person who believes in the need to compensate for great work (3000 US$), you may contact me...

Webmaster 24 your busted, LOL.

You post a question as if your a potential student seeking a Study Permit. Whether you should retain Jade Immigration in this posting @ 09:14 hours. I REPLIED

http://www.canada-city.ca/canada-immigration/posting.php?messageid=32888

Then Webmaster24 posts this reply to Holy Moly that she should retain the same person/firm Jade Immigration Webmaster24 is seeking advice about @ 09:43 hours.

Approximately a half hour later.

Holy Moly - Simple and Berg are Immigration Trolls or could be Consultants trying to discredit others because they can´t compete with quality advisers.

Who is Webmaster 24?

Does he/she work for Jade Immigration? Why is he/she recommending Jade Immigration and requesting references about Jade immigration at the same time? STRANGE!

Holy Moly - Focus on who you´re trying to Sponsor and why any one should believe you´re in a genuine relationship that is continuing and growing. That your marriage was not entered into so your partner could get permanent resident status in Canada.

What the Canadian visa officers think about spouses from Manila etc. Read the Chavez vs MCI IAD decision on what is required to prove a genuine marriage especially since your spouse has to satisfy both prongs of Regulation 4 at this time.

Shop around do your due diligence, get references and ask any authorized adviser why you should retain them over another authorized adviser. If their answer does not make common sense to you then don´t retain them.

Be sure to ask who will actually work on your spouses application.

Good golly, miss molly... :) if you want your immigration issues resolved for once and forever, look no further; I charge about 3k US to begin with though. Roy is just a cheapo.. but he relies on keeping you as client for years and milk slowly.
