| Subject: question about H&C frist stage approval |

hi guys
we are family of 4, husband, wife ,daughter (age 11 ,born in US) and son (age 6 born in canada
finally i got my H&C first satge approval yesterday .it was approved on april 2nd they sent me the letter on 11 April and i got the mail yesterday on april 20th .they asked me to submit police clearence canada. FBI criminnal check ,US police clearence (as i lived in US for 3 years) passports of my family and passport pictures with in 30 days
1. 30 days count from the decession was made or the the date they sent me the letter on April 11th
2. where i can get my US police clearence and FBI criminal check done
3.they didnt ask me to do medical .usually they dont ask for it in first stage approval or i should send it over to them any way
4. i have a canadian born boy should i send his passport pictures as well
5. do i need a police clearence for my daughter and my son or just for me and my wife
6. freind of mine told me to get the canadian police check at 40 college street in toronto just to make sure he is right

TIME STARTS TO CLOCK IN FROM THE DATE OF THE DECISION.
2. where i can get my US police clearence and FBI criminal check done

(ALL IN THE LETTER THE APPLICANTS RECEIVED)

STRANGE, NO REQUEST FOR MEDICAL AND RIGHT OG PR FEE (490 $)
THIS MAY NOT BE WHAT IS MISSING IN CIC´S FILE

IS HE LANDING AS PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA?
5. do i need a police clearence for my daughter and my son or just for me and my wife.

1. Date of the letter.
2. Instructions on bottom right hand corner of this web site cic.gc.ca
3. They will mail you medical forms.
4. No need to inform them about your Canadian child by submitting passports he is not applying for status in Canada.
5. PCC for anyone who has resided in a foreign country for more than six months since the age of 18.
6. Same answer as number 2

i am in Canada for last 10 years and in 2004, had background /police check. it was clear.
can cic consider that background checks instead of wasting time again!since i never left canada withing the last 10 years.

that is what i saw in their website
and i haven´t received yet a letter from them
please is that means, that a first stage was approoved ?:(
did anybody know wath is it going to happen after that ?

You need to wait for first stage approval (if you have not recived it yet. I received mine last September after over 4 years of waiting
