Subject: Low Income Cut off not met for a single year
I am in the final stage of sponsoring my parents. I applied in Oct 2008. CIC have asked for Option C prints for 2009 and 2010. I have annual salary more than LICO for 2009 but not for 2010.

For 2011 I will have the required LICO. But they haven´t asked for my 2011 returns. What are the chances of my parents case passing. What is the best thing to do in this situation?
They have also asked for proof of income for a certain period from 2009 to 2010 besides the Option C. Would T4 and T4A would be good enough? Please advice.

P.S:
Up until Dec 9, 2009, I was single so LICO was for three people.
Now I had a son in oct 2011, so LICO would be for five people.

I know one couple fell below the LICO when the wife went back to school full time. Her husband was fixing computers for Cash and had not declared that income. He had to pay $700.00 for every 10,000 in income that was not reported.

Then CRA provided an updated notice of assessment.
