I am on an H1B visa in the US working in one of the border states with Canada. I have a permanent residence in process in Canada under the skilled immigrant category for the last three years. Last week, I got a call for an interview that has been schedule for april 05. Meanwhile, I have got an admission at the UToronto part time MBA program for which I need a study permit to attend on a weekly basis begining april 05.
I am in a fix. Should I send the passport and wait for the study permit to get processed and thereafter go for the PR interview OR should I hold off till the PR interview gets over. Please advise. Should I consult a lawyer?

Your case like my case 100% it´s called (dual intent).
if you state that in interview you will harm your PR process , so you should decide now before the interview.
