Hi
I am applying for Immigration under Canadian Experience Class. I want to know if I can apply for the immigration of my younger sister who is 17 years old as a dependent family member or something like that with my application?
Any guidance on rules and regulations will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

(in reply to: Sponsoring Sister) Dependents are spouses or children.

sponsring sister (in reply to: Sponsoring Sister) firstly , under which experience class you are applying ? And in which province? The only way you can sponsor your sister is under PNP saskatchewan.
For that you need to have permanent job in saskatchewan according to the field of relative study . After you complete 1 year of job , automatically your any family member will be eligible for PR . You can sponsor 1 member & rest 5 can come on dependent visa , including your cousins but not Parents and Grandparents .

Sponsoring Sister (in reply to: Sponsoring Sister) Fund Requirement for sponsorship under PNP would be as follows :
Primary Applicant: 10,000 CAD$ (in liquid or Fixed deposit)
Each Dependent: 2,000 CAD$(Maximum 5 people can accompany)
Funds should be min.3months old before application is logged.
There should be no third party fund . It should be only in favor of applicant .

Sponsoring Sister (in reply to: Sponsoring Sister) yes, you can sponsor your sister.
Just make sure that you have at least one year stay in your current job in that area.
