Subject: Refusal - oversight of degree already submitted
I have applied for Canadian PR as a Skilled Worker. I am a Charted Accountant and have 2 bachelor degrees: 1. Bachelor of Commerce (3 years) and 2. LL B (also known as B.L – Bachelor of Laws, 3 years).

My application was rejected with the following note: You have obtained insufficient points to qualify for immigration to Canada, the minimum requirement being 67 points (I was given 66 points)…..You were granted 20 points for education because you have ‘a’ bachelor’s degree. Your professional designation as an accountant does not grant you further points because the chartered accountancy does not qualify as an educational credential with the definition in Regulation 73….”

Obviously one of the degrees is missed out while considering my documents. I have claimed both degrees and submitted documents for both. My attorney’s office confirms that.

My attorney’s office said they have sent a reconsideration request.

I am worried as I do not know how the outcome will be.
Can anybody answer what are the chances of getting the approval in a situation like this?
