| Subject: Can I marry my foreign boyfriend here? |

I am a Canadian citizen, and have been in love with a guy from India for ages now. He is planning to come to Canada on a tourist visa this year, and I was wondering if we could marry here itself. Thereafter, he won´t be settling here or anything. He´ll be returning to India, and I might also accompany him to stay there for an indefinite period of time. It´s just that if we marry in India, which we could and had initially planned to, the procedure there would be very long and hellish!
So if we marry here, what is required of both me and him? Special documents etc.?
