Some basic info
Age 37 - 10 points
Education - 22 points (15 Years with a master degree)
Work Noc 0, 1 and 2 - 21 points (8 years experience)
To achieve 67 still I need 14 points
Either I can make it by getting 4,4,4,4 in IELTS or in case if I cannot achieve 4,4,4,4 and achieve 4,2,2,2, can I include my wife in my application to gain additional 4 points (15 Years of education with bachelor degree).
Can I declare my kids as dependants and exclude from the primary application coz I can prove the fund only for 2 persons (for me and for my wife alone)
What would be the consequences of having the above approach from the Immigration officer point of view? Can they ask "why you are not including your kids and what is the reason to include my wife alone" kind of questions and reject my application?

The answer is NO. You have to include your kids in the application, otherwise that would be misrepresentation and that is ILLEGAL in Canada.
Whether they are coming with you or not, they have to be included.
If you don´t include them, you will never be able to sponsor them to bring them to Canada, then you will be changed with misrepresentation and your status can be revoked.
If you can´t afford to include your kids, then it doesn´t get any easier once you live in Canada.

Sure i will include (kids)them in my application as my dependants. But i will say that they will not accompany me when i move to canada ( becase of proof of fund)
But the point is,will this approach create some unknown problem ????
