Subject: Wrong marital status on canadian immigration form
I am writing this as behalf of my friend as she realized one mistake of her while filling up the Canadian immigration form filled wrong information in her Canadian immigration form. and now she is owning a PR card and already filed for citizenship. First of all i want to know if the complaint can be filed for this case.

At the time when she got her PR and entered in the country she filled wrong information marital status as "Single" though she was married at that time and her divorce case was in court and when she entered the country second time that time her case was sorted the she became single again.

But in her all Canadian immigration forms she never mentioned as she was married and got separated and her divorce case is in court.

I am not sure if any complaint can be made on this wrong information filled in the forms. Please let me know so that i can proceed.

Thanks

So ABC this is all about your "friend" lol.

Any complaint can be made any time but can CIC/CBSA prove the complaint and how would they know? She is now applying for Citizenship so she has been here for three years, yet you´re asking the question.

CIC/CBSA have not found out in three years so why are you and your friend (wink) concerned now?

We are concerned now because, her ex-husband is trying to make a complaint of this with all valid documents(her divorce copy and her canadian landing paper) where date shows clearly the proof of fraud/cheating.

So i am not sure how much concerned it will be paid once complaint has been made.

That could be a problem. That could be an evidence that she obtained the Canadian PR by fraudulent means.

No need to worry, now.

If there is no complaint there is nothing to worry about.

If there is a complaint you have options but until you have evidence of a complaint there is nothing you can do so there is nothing to worry about.

Relax and go with the flow and stop concentrating on the potential of a complaint because you attract the things you think about.
