Subject: CAIPS Note interpretation
  Hi All,
I just got my CAIPS notes. I could interpret most of the stuff except one line, which says PAPER FILE SENT TO: SEC BF FILE TO : ROW ON 21-02-2005. I understand that BF FILE TO means file forwarded to. However, what does this ROW stands for? Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance for help,
Aki

ROW means a storage where your file is OR a VISA office who will take care of your case

By the way, when did you submit your file and what date did you get your AOR?

I got my AOR on Jan22, 2004 and IA on Sep 2, 2004. I checked CIC Buffalo has received all documents they asked me in IA and Medical is also OK. My CAIPS note does not show that they have received updated proof of funds, which I have sent on Feb1, 2005. I was checking for interpretation of this CIC note on my file and found different answers. One web site that offers this service says that SEC means the processing office and ROW is the name of officer who is going to open my file on Feb 21, 2005. Other web site says that ROW is the interview date. Just confused as I got interview waiver during IA and my total point assessment by CIC is 70. I hope it is just the name of immigration officer who is going to decide my fate on Feb21, 2005. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Aki

Hi, in my understanding, CIC will review your all files and documnets on 21-02-2005. If everythting is going well, I believe you will get your Pasp. Req. soon; however, if you are under security check or background check or CIC still waiting your missing documents, it will delay your application. If you do not hear anything from them after a few weeks of 21-02-2005, something must be wrong with your case. Then you should order another CAIPS to see what happens.

good luck man

Thanks Jeff, There is only one missing document in CAIPS note and it is the updated proof of funds. My CAIPS note shows that CIC Buffalo asked for it when they sent me IA. However, when I look at the list of additional documents they asked for during IA, the check box for updated proof of funds was unchecked. This is not my mistake. Anyways I have sent it through FedEx and hope they will add it to my file before next assessment date. After I got my CAIPS note, I feel more relaxed. Now no need to check e-client every week as I know when they gonna assess it. Hope for the best and be prepared for the rest.
Thanks,
Aki.
