Subject: is it a valid job offer? |
|
|
|
I am filling the forms and have a small doubt:
1)I am on work-permit in Canada.I am an employee of an indian company and currently in Canada to work for one of the clients. My work-permit have the name of the client and my parent company is not in the picture.
So in "Schedule form 3", the answer to Question 3 "Do you have a job offer approved by HRDC" should be yes or not ?
I don´t have any offer letter from my client as I am not actually employee of this company.I had the letter which states that the client require me to be onsite(in canada).
So I am confused whether I should say that I have a valid job offer or I don´t have ?
Is it possible for a person to be on work-permit without havinga job offer approved by HRDC.
And other minor thing is whether I get any points if I have worked for 6 months(Full time) in Canada?..Under adaptability?
Please help me out.
Thanks,
Rahul

In my understanding, you should not consider your current status with your client as an employee/employer relationship. To be able to get the points for the job offer, you should be directly hired or offered for employment by your client. Your employement contract must be between you and your client.
Having worked in Canada will help you qualify for the much demanded "canadian experience".
