  I have a pending h and c and a prra.

Recently i received medical form imm 1017 for my family. (with instruction to "do not do ede/efe) from the prra office for my family. The forms had a code HC1.

I am confused. I am assuming that is part of the processing of the h and c case, however i did not receive an AIP.

Can someone please advise.

Pay someone to find out what has happened to your H&C application especially if no update on e-cas.

It appears that your approved or if you claimed H&C factors based on a medical condition they may be getting ready to remove you.

On your medical exam form, the type of H&C will be revealed such as HC1SNF or HC1 DNF

Theoretically, applicants are expected to undergo medical after being AIP.

SNF Spouse not sponsored as member of the family class

DNF Dependent child not sponsored as member of the family class

SOF Parent/grandparents not sponsored as member of the family class

DFM De facto family members

PIL Prolonged inability to leave Canada has led to establishment

PZR Personalized risk

RAL Refugees who apply for permanent resident too late

That is why i so confused. yeah from my research it appears as if first you get the AIP then you are requested to do medicals. E-cas still says application in process. Was not asked to update my file. All the form has is case type HC1.

Still hoping that it is a positive step and that my first has received first stage approval.

Additionally i do have a FSW application with a positive AEO in process.

This what the letter states:

" This letter refers to your application for permanent residence.

In order to continue processing your application, you must undergo a medical examination as required by section 30 of the regulation..........."

You must comply with this requirement within 60 days from the date of this letter. If you do not, a decision would be made based on the information on your file.

What do make of this?
