Hello:
This is my 2nd H&C application, and my 1st H&C and PRRA was negative. **On February 25, 2011 they transferred my file to CIC Vancouver.
Here is my timeline for the 2nd H&C:
We received your application for permanent residence on October 7, 2010.
We started processing your application on November 23, 2010.
We transferred your application to the CIC Calgary office on February 25, 2011. The CIC Calgary office may contact you.
We returned your application to the Case Processing Centre on July 13, 2011. The Case Processing Centre will continue to process your application within the normal service standards.
A decision was made on June 15, 2012 on your application. You should receive a decision shortly. Note that decisions are either delivered by mail or in person. Also note that the CIC Call Centre is not authorized to provide information related to the outcome of your application.
Wondering, if someone could advise what does it mean would be highly appreciated.

@Rahman,your e-cas said it all. A decision was made on June 15, 2012 on your application. You should receive a decision shortly. Note that decisions are either delivered by mail or in person. Also note that the CIC Call Centre is not authorized to provide information related to the outcome of your application.
Sometimes you may be ask to go for your medical or ask to go to airport road to get your decision in person. At this point you just have to cross your fingers. One of my friend got the same stuff last month. He later got a letter from CBSA to come in for his decision. He went in for his decision in person.

I got the same stuff in April, now even after two months, I did not get any letter yet while I applied in Dec 2011 and according to my online status they started processing my application on 2nd March and since mid April my e-case said the same content like yours.I asked to the call center agent, they said the application is in processes, I am just wondering what to do? please keep posted your updates on this forum

@saad, your case is one i have seen in years. Submitted in December 2011. Started processing it in march and in April decision made!!!. I hope you´re checking the right thing. Don´t you have a representative that can help you figure out what is going on? Don´t be too greedy of getting a good one. Use your time wisely while u have it........My H7C was submitted it September,2010 and PRRA application in December,2010. Up till now there is nothing about it. I confirmed both files is in Montreal BRO office for further processing. I still make my monthly report.I guess just do the right thing.

Thanks a lot all of you who wants to contribute their valuable comments based on real life situations. As I was reading some articles in this website, and some of them mentioned they are still waiting for the letter for more than two months.
Wondering, what is the best practice to get a clear idea if I am not getting the mail within a certain amount of time. And how long should I consider for certain amount of time? Your advise would be highly appreciated.

Good day, Roy thanks for your response as you can see Sir in my ecas the decision has been made on my paper last July 13, and until now I haven´t receive a letter yet? I dont know what will be the outcome of my application and how long will it take to receive the letter from them? Ive seen some situation like this? just wondering if this approve or refused? cause just wondering why do they need to contact you if you are refused already? cause it said on my ecas that I will be contacted? do you have an idea why it took so long to process my paper and why my paper was process in Niagara instead of Vegreville or etobicoke? is there any special case like this thats why they forwarded it to another division or office of CIC? and do you think this kind of letter is refeused? thanks SirRoy, hope to hear from you.

my paper has been process for almost 7 years now, and from time to time my status at ecas was always change like 3 years ago my paper was forwarded to CIC Calgary then it was forwarded to Etobicoke and this is the latest that I updated on my ecas? just wondering if this kind of letter is refused? thanks. hope to hear from you, I know it doesnt say refuse but just wondering how will you know if you are refuse do they have a format of letter they use to send to their clients like your application is refused? or you can see that in the system? we called the cic hotline and he said that he cannot see on my file that the decission has been made already, he only seen that it is still in process at Niagara Falls SIR CIC office, and it confused me just wondering if I already denied? I couldn´t sleep and wondering what was going on, do you have an idea what is going on on my paper and the decision? thanks. God bless
