I would like to know information for a friend who is in a situation that requires him to leave the United states before he is deported. This person would like to live in Canada and re-establish him self. What is the best way to go about him getting through this process.

chances in re applying temp. working visa in canada (in reply to: entering Canada...)
Dear Ma´am / Sir,

Good Day!

I just wanted to ask if there any chances for me to reapply of temporary working visa in Canada?? I couldn´t afford to wait for my application for residency to process.

Attached here is my Employers letter as well my letter to the Canada Immigration.

I did overstayed because my First lawyer that I hired told me that he will tell me when I will leave the country.( the reason I hired a lawyer is to help me out in my application for residency ) but due to the fact that I´m really worried and he´s little bit slow, I try to find another consultant. after my consultant submitted my application I left the country right away.

Dear Sir /Ma’am, ( my statement )1.1

A pleasant good day to you!

First of all, I would like to apologize for still being here in Canada despite the fact that my work permit has already expired. I am writing this letter to ask for consideration regarding my situation. Rest assured that I will respect any decision you will make and hopefully you will give me another chance.

I have been living in Canada for almost 3 years now and I love it here. I love how disciplined and helpful the people are. I love the culture, which is similar to ours in a way. I even love the weather - we never get snow back home. And most of all, I love working here not only because I am able to give a better future for my children and help my family but also because it pushes me to the limits of my abilities which makes me a better person.

Feb 8, 2011, I emailed my consultant telling her that I already got a go signal from my employer to start the advertisement for the renewal of my work permit. Feb 25, I emailed her again since she didn’t respond to my first email, asking her if I could be of any help to her so we can start the advertisement. By March 7, she replied to my email and started the process. March 30, I got another email from her telling me that somebody deleted the ad she posted in Job Bank so, she has to rerun it again. But I didn’t know that she’s not is the only one who have access to it. There’s another Immigration consultant who deleted it. After that, I thought everything was running smoothly ‘coz papers were signed for the LMO and all that until last Aug 30. I even went to her last Aug 23 to talk about my work permit and I just found out that day that my LMO was already approved. Aug 30, I got a call from her telling me she can’t submit my work permit because it’s already expired and that I have to leave the country and that’s all she could do so, I was devastated! It was like all of my dreams are shattering right in front of me and I can’t do anything about it. I got worried about my family ‘coz they were all relying on me and I can’t leave the restaurant and my employers just like that ‘coz we have made a lot of plans for the expansion of the restaurant and we rely on each other’s capabilities to achieve that goal.

Again, I’m very sorry for what happened and I’m pleading for your outmost understanding regarding my situation.

Respectfully yours,

Dear Sir /Ma’am, ( my employers statement )2.0

Greetings! Please accept our sincerest apologies for having to write this letter to you.

Mr. XXX has been an asset to our company since he started working here. He sets the mood in the restaurant to make working there pleasant and stress free. He helps build sales and is very calm when a crisis occurs. He is the one who boosts employee morale and the commitment he gives to the restaurant is impeccable. His experience in the restaurant is a big help to us since he exceeds any expectations we have of him. My family was able to relax a bit and have more quality time for each other when he came to us because now, we can leave the operation of the restaurant to him and not worry about any problems.

We have always had a consultant help us out in the process of work permits and the renewal of Mr. Manio`s papers was not an exception. We know a little bit about the process but we prefer to have it done professionally to prevent errors. Whenever there are papers to be signed and documents to be forwarded, we do them right away. We thought Mr. Manio`s papers are going smoothly until he told us that he needs to leave the country. We can’t just let him go since we consider him the heart of the restaurant and it is very hard to work without him.

We hope you would consider our application for him and rest assured this will not happen again. It will serve as a big lesson for us and a big lesson for that matter.

Please feel free to call us if there’s anything we could do to help you with.

Sincerely yours,

Lastly I receive a letter from the Immigration that I have to leave the country due to no legal documents.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Asm
