Subject: Sponsoring a British National
  Hi,

I am planning on marrying my fiancées this December. As she has a British passport therefore she would not have trouble getting here to Canada I presume. My question is to you that I would apply for her permanent residence as soon she gets here. Anyways at the port of entry she has to prove to the visa officer that she will return to her country. I don´t know whether she would be allowed to come if we landed together in Canada.

What is the best way of going about this? I want to apply for her Canadian permanent residence when she is here so that she does not have to leave the Canada while application is being processed.
Anyone who has gone through the process kindly let me know.

Ur help needed thanks.

You should apply from outside of Canada. If she appears not to be a genuine visitor (someone that is supposed to leave at the end of their visit), she can be refused of entry into Canada.

Not a pretty scenario to see, your significant half taken away and put in detention until CBSA arranges a flight back for this person.

So is it better that she comes to Canada and get married overhere?
