Hello guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea or the same situation that I´m presently in. I have both application in process. I sent in my H& C application towards the end of 2010 and PRRA application in last of month of 2010. What surprised me most is that, i knew of a guy that applied about six months later in both applications after i sent mine. He had his decision already,but it wasn´t favorable. Although i got scared when he said they´ve made a decision on his case. He got a letter and went in for the decision, but he was refused. I quickly called the call center out of curiosity to find out about my applications and she said ´´ My H&C would probably be done around October,2012 and another one said October, 2014. I wasn´t too sure, so i decided to put in on here for opinions. Funny most, both files was transferred from Vancouver at almost the same time to Montreal BRO office. Please anyone with any idea about what is going on. Thanks.

Some take months while some take years. Some are still in limbo.
Decisions are rendered on a case by case basis.

Keep the faith. My time line almost exactly like yours. Both my H&C and PRRA file are also at Montreal BRO.
Last month i received instructions in the mail to do medical within 60 days for the h&c case.
Point to note i was not issued with an AIP or asked to do police clearance.
I am still waiting and hoping for the best. I pray to god.

Thanks Ramesh, i will keep hope and wait for their decision. I know decision varies on case by case. I guess you´re through with yours. Congratulation. Medical request is a good sign.

PRAA and H&C are usually turned down. So be sure to have a plan B. My husband is back home after his PRAA was turned down. I´m in the process of doing spousal sponsorship for him. He´s been back home 9 months now.

Any H&C with little or no H&C factors displayed properly are turned down yet I win at least one every single month.

Hi Tin tin, thanks for the information and advise. what was his time line when he applied for both application? Did you husband applied with the old regulations or new? I have my plan B. Here is the situation; like Roy said ´´Any H&C with little or no H&C factors displayed properly are turned down´´. My application have those recipe. I have this guy that even applied after mine, i kept telling him to update but he thought i was joking and laughing at him. He said´´ You´ve applied six months before me, that i should put concern to mine that his application is still fresh and new. Before a twinkle of an eye, he was denied both. Now i went through this refusal package and i find it very uninteresting because he failed to pay attention to my advice. He paid so much trust in a jerk and flick lawyer. Even after he was denied, he called his lawyer and he promised to call him back. Two weeks since he was refused, the jack never call. So selecting a representative really matter a times. Personally, i always push my lawyer about so many opinions....lolz. He said ´´Stephen, you should have gone to study immigration law instead of your nursing´´...He said some clients can´t even remember their client I.D when u ask them. The lawyer are trying their best, but individually attempt also pay at the end. So Tin-tin, i have everything in place and God is behind me.

hi all
I apply for permanent residence on january 12th 2010
when i check online it say:
we received your application on january 23rd, 2010
we started processing on feb, 2010
we start processing on march 2011 (again why)
update received july 2010, thanks for the update
we transfer your file to missessauga office, they may contact you
now i am wondering why is it in process two times, why it send to missessauga,why why why i live in Niagara region, not missessauga peel region
please can anyone give me an idea
I apply to renew my work permit on Mars 9th, 2012 and i receive it 2 weeks later; they extended it for 3 years
what´s going on
can i apply for health card, what do you think.thanks a lot God bless you all

Hi Rob, your application is in process really mean it´s in process. Do not be despair about that. Again it doesn´t matter where your file is being processed. I live in Toronto and my processing file is in Montreal. My actual file is in Etobicoke. Surely, you will get a final decision at your local office if you´re requested to do so. Did you tell your lawyer about it? Did u confirmed why from the call center in Vegreville? Yes you can go ahead and apply for health card as long as you´re working full time and you have a proof to back it up. You can check call Service Ontario to confirm this. You´ll need a letter from your employer ´´ stating that you´re working full time in Ontario. i know there is one major office on Sheppard and Yonge.
