Hi,
My ex was sponsoring me under common law appliction. during this time he became very abusive in every which way. One day I couldnt take it anymore and call the police.he was charged but pleaded guilty and was given probation being as it was his first offensive. He later withdrew my sponsorship and cic ask to leave me but i was not given a date.just a letter to infor me that my ex had withdraw my sponsorship nd i should leave immediately.
I have letter from my doctor, family,friend and counselor to attest to my abuse.
what does that means?
my so called lawyer told me to wait until I am issued a prra application which i have been waiting on for over a year.
Any idea why?
my problem is I am in the process of moving and been as I no longer have a client id number because of my ex withdrawing my sponsorship and i havent apply under h&c I wonder how I am going to notify cic of my change of address to be issued my prra whether its in writing or hand delivered.

If you wish to live in Canada in the future, you will need to apply on your own merits or perhaps find someone else to sponsor you. To make that easier in the future, it may be wise to leave before CIC forces the issues.

You were given a departure order which now has turned into a deportation order because you did not depart when told to do that.
Your client ID has never changed.
Best advice is just leave and get on with a new life.
