Adopting a 20 years old Colombian. (in reply to: Free Immigration Consultation)
To whom it may concern. I am a permanent resident who can apply for the U.S. citizenship at any time. I am original from Colombia. I have a 20 years old niece whose mother (my sister) pass away many years ago and since then I am taking care of my niece. I miss my niece avery day and she does to. I talked with my husband who is a U.S. citizen and he told me "why we don´t adopt her´ not my question is, Can we adopt a 20 years old niece who is a Colombian citizen? if so how long will take this process? what do I need? thank you.
