Hi
I have been asked to show a proof of French proficiency. At the time I was filing in my application, I had also qualified myself for French as well. However, it´s more than five years that I have not used any french and it´s gotten rusty. Right now, I am a PhD student and don´t have time to refresh the French, taking lesson or sth. Also, I don´t need its point, I already have 75+.
Do you have any idea, how should I answer the question; I don´t want them to consider french point for me anymore.
Thanks,

(in reply to: French Language Test) Hi,
Did u claim for Moderate/High proficiency in French? If u did, did u send a letter from the institution where u learnt french? If u havent sent any letter from the institution then u can send it now. I think they will consider ur application with the letter from the Institution.
I dont suggest u to request them not to consider ur French at this point of time. It may go against ur case. they may get suspicious too.
Even i have learnt French from Grade 6 to Grade 12 in my schooling days. I had obtained the letter from my school saying that i learnt French for seven years. I have also lived in Montreal for 2 years. If u have any doubts, u can mail me at arb643@mail.usask.ca
Cheers
