Subject: Can I get a extension of Post Graduate Work Permit |
I had a 3 years post graduate work permit. I was sick and officially on leave for 2 years and was not working. Now I am doing good and able to work. Can I get a extension of my WP for 2 years.

(in reply to: Can I get a extension of Post Graduate Work Permit) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5553ETOC.asp
In the above website, ``If you do not work during the entire specified period on your work permit (for example you have a work permit valid for four years and you are sick or you leave temporarily Canada), you may need to submit proof of time not worked when you apply for another work permit later on``
but not confirm what about post graduate work permit...can anybody tell me what I can do..

(in reply to: Can I get a extension of Post Graduate Work Permit) No - you cannot extend a post graduate work permit. If you want to continue working, your employer will need to obtain an approved LMO and then you will have to apply for a closed work permit.
