Subject: FSW Immigration while on work visa
I am working in Canada on a Work Visa since last 2 months. Can I apply for immigration right now or do I need to wait for some time?

I completed my Bachelors in Canada about 10 years ago. Also, I had applied for immigration and was granted in 2005. I did not stay in Canada and therefore had to surrender the PR.

I need to apply again... Do I need to wait? Is there a way to get my PR reinstated after voluntarily surrendering PR?

Yes - you can apply for immigration now (provided you qualify).

No - there is no way to get your PR reinstated. You must apply again from scratch.
