Subject: Reduce Immigration Levels
If you are a born/raised CANADIAN and you truly believe that immigration has to serve the interests of its own citizens. And that it cannot be turned into a social assistance program for other countries. And that it should never be a social engineering experiment that is conducted on Canadians, I urge you to please visit immigrationwatchcanada.org

Because right now, immigration has become those 2 things.

Why? In particular, why has Canada’s 250,000 per year immigration intake remained in place for 20 years?

The answer is that all of Canada’s major political parties have adopted the attitude that they know what is best for Canadians and that Canadians do not have to be consulted when major decisions are made.

These politicians imply that the primary purpose of immigration is to help people in other countries, whether this help is to protect them from persecution or from unemployment. These politicians claim that their position is morally superior, and that this is why they support current immigration policies.

Ok, I am a born and raised Canadian and this is one of the dumbest things I´ve ever heard Nick.

You seem to forget that more than 80% of people´s heritage in this country derives from immigrants. Unless you are a native Indian, if you´re not, then think before you speak.
And if you are....sorry.

Yes, the government has immigration program to assist people from other countries but the total amount of skill immigrants is way above that!.

Funny enough, the people that uses the welfare program, the majority are "born and raised Canadians". Explain that one to me.

This a great country that is aging fast. Bigger than the US with only 10% of its population and you are bitching about immigration?

Much to learn you still have - Master Yoda.
