I came to Canada (8 months back) sponsored by my ex-husband. now if i marry someone who is in Canada on study permit and sponsor him?

No - you can´t.
If you were sponsored by your husband for PR - then you won´t be able to sponsor someone else until five years have passed since you landed and became a PR.
If you landed in February of this year (2012), this means that you will have to wait until February of 2017 before you can sponsor.
