Subject: Bank Account? Spousal Immigration..

I plan on putting in application for spousal immigration so I can live there with my husband. My question neither my husband or I have a bank account, we like to have our money on hand. Will this be a problem when I submit my application? Is there an alternative to us having a joint bank account? Thank you.
