Recently received 2 letters from CBSA, non from cic.

First letter states " On our recent review of your file we have determined that an officer of CIC has approved for application for permanent residence to be process from within Canada. As such you are no longer requirement to report by phone on a monthly basis, however all other conditions remains until you are landed.

Second letter 3 days after states" A decision has been made for application to remain in Canada by the Minister of ...... (PPRA). You required to attend an interview to receive this decision in person on so and so date and time at 6900 Airport road. Please bring the follow with you

Passport ( that is already with CBSA)
other identification issued to you; drivers license,Sin card, work permit, etc and 4 passport size photo.

Failure to attend this interview will result in country wide arrest warrant for you.

Confuse, do not know what to make of this.

Congratulations. Approved in principle.

An application for an exempt to apply for permanent residence within Canada such as H&C has been approved or an inland spousal sponsorship application.

CIC makes a decision and passes it to CBSA who gives your the decision letter at Greater Enforcement Centre.

Stay out of trouble until you are landed as PR.

Try again this is not how you´re informed of winning a PRRA or an H&C in the GTA.

The letter does not refer to either PRRA or H&C and only says a decision has been made. So the letters tell you your approved then threatens you with a Canada wide warrant.

Yup you can fool Anonymous but try harder.

Roy, That is why i said that i do not know what to make of the letters. I will now quote the exact contents of the letters.

Letter 1 " Following a review of your file, we have determined that a representative of the Minister of Citizenship & Immigration has approved your request for an exception to allow your application for permanent residence to be processes from within Canada. As a result we are amending your terms and conditions by cancelling condition 7."

Second letter "This is to advise that a decision has been made with respect to your application to the Minister for protection under the immigration and refugee protection act. To receive this decision you are required to attend in person as indicated below"

Ramesh: say hi to Rajesh, Ranjit and a few other Indian dudes you are going to meet there. Do not feel slighted to return home! It was called home for a good reason. But you can always try to return here in a proper way later on. Bon Voyage... :)

A generic letter, a standard operation procedure on the part of CBSA.

----

A decision has been made for application to remain in

Passport ( that is already with CBSA)
other identification issued to you; drivers license,Sin card, work permit, etc and 4 passport size photo.

Failure to attend this interview will result in country wide arrest warrant for you.

Thanks Anonymous. By all means i will attend the interview. Hopefully i will get to remain in Canada. Yes i am required to submit all of those.I am not too worried since i have a FSW application in process since April 2012. This is backed by an approved AEO.

Assuming that my application did receive first stage approval, would be able to obtain my landed without a valid passport? (CBSA has my expired passport)
