| Subject: is Vancouver really unwelcoming for immigrants? |

it´s been years now that i´m living in Canada (quebec) and i want to move to start something new somewhere else in Canada to live a new experience ,a new place in Canada to call home. by reading articles and blogs about different cities around the country, most of the reviews and opinions were positive but at my surprise Vancouver is more than often criticized especially by people who moved there from other provinces and not necessarily immigrant ,some words always come back like "ethnic groups live apart each one in its side " "people focus on workin and working making money and money and nothing else..."

some people give an opinion based on their personal experience , rareare thos who can express a view by enlarging their vision on a subject more than themselfs.
vancouver was always in my mind like number 1 of love and openess. so thing are starting to be confusing .
