Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for COPR to be issued? My case has been handled by the London office (as this is the closest one to my home country of Ireland) and I am living and working in Canada (on a temporary work permit) for the last 5 or so months. I received an email over 3 weeks ago telling me a decission has been made and to forward copies of my passport, photos and the other documents for the COPR to be processeed. I mailed these straight away but still have not received my COPR or any reply. My current address is correct on my file and the same on the self addressed envelope I was told to include. Is it normal for it to take a few weeks? I am traveling home in a few weeks and would like to have it for my return journey hence my anxiousness. Any input on this would be very much appreciated.

(in reply to: Confirmation of PR, info please) Hi Peter, It took six weeks for our Passport with Canada Visa stamped returned to us and we where in Dubai then. Our Passports were sent to London. Dont be anxious, its worth the waiting.
