Subject: Wrong Processing centre
  Hello,

I sent my spousal application to Vegreville instead of Mississauga. It has been five months, I have sent numerous emails and called CIC but each time I have been lied to that my application has been sent to Mississauga. I can tell this is not true due to the fact that if it had been sent to Mississauga it would have been processed by now. Can someone tell me what to do because the call centre agents do not seem willing to help. Thanks. I am really frustrated at the moment.

Time saved hiring an authorized adviser is priceless for some. Most people believe that they are in a real relationship, what could go wrong.

You´re an example of what can go wrong.

FSW and CEC applicants put down the CIO Central Intake Office in Sydney as their Visa Post and those files are refused. The CIO is not a Visa Post!

You`re probably Canadian and been educated here and the CEC applicants have been studying or working in Canada. Yet they want to DIY.

I`m sorry to say but it is far more likely that your Spousal Sponsorship application will be returned to you refused then transferred to Mississauga CPC. Well it is Christmas time when hope springs eternal, lets cross your fingers that it is in Mississauga CPC.

Instead of getting angry with the call centre people in Montreal consider this (it was your fault).

Penny wise and Pound foolish.

I agree with Roy. Based on what I´ve seen elsewhere, it´s likely your file will be returned to you rather than forwarded to Mississauga. It likely won´t be looked at until around the 5-6 month mark. Then I would add on another month or so for the return process.

These offices receive literally thousands of pieces of mail per day. So unfortunately it´s unreasonable to expect they can easily locate an individual package.

I´m guessing the call centre staff aren´t so much lying to you as trying to be positive / optimistic.

Costly mistake. Not much you can do now but wait.
