Got AIP last Sept. on H&C. Did medicals prior to AIP as requested.
Recently got a mail to update addresses from from 1985 to 1995. I am being in Canada since 2002. Also need to submit police clearance for countries i have lived in for at least 6 months for the last 10 years. Requested to provide police clearance from my home country but lived in Canada for the last 10 years.
Also need to provide valid passport or travel document. Currently my passport is with CBSA and has expired. My country of birth need 12 weeks for new passport and would not process unless i submit my expired passport.I need to submit all of this within 30 days.
Please help.

(in reply to: Passport request)
Been in Canada from 2002 to 2012
Where were you from 1985 to 1995? Write addresses where you lived during this period.
CIC wants your police clearance from your home country.
You need a valid and subsisting passport in order to land as PR.
CIC needs either a valid passport or a letter from your embassy that a passport cannot be issued and CIC may be ready to waive your passport requirement under H&C.--landing with the expired passport at the landing interview.
The letter from your country embassy is most crucial. No valid passport, no letter, no landing as PR.

LOT OF WORK TO DO (in reply to: Passport request) If your embassy only needs certified photocopy of your expired passport, CBSA officers will copy for free. Visit them in person.
