How long are PC's valid for?

Subject: How long are PC's valid for?
  i was wondering as to how long do the immigration officers consider the Police Clearance certificate valid for? i had my UK clearance issued on 22th december, 2004 and i have my spouse case interview on the 3rd of march, 2005 i.e just almost 2 months old! do i have to get a new PC, or it is ok? pls help

Police certificates are valid for three months.

Some say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In the case of police certificates, their validity is in the hands of the immigration officer... He can make it valid for 1 day and he can make valid even after your death...
