| Subject: Cdn citizen to bring back adopted baby overseas |

I have a question.
My friend has become a Canadian citizen last year. Shortly after that she went back to her home country (North Africa) to adopt a baby there (she can´t have kids) and bring him back with her to Canada.
She is currently on mat leave but has to be back in Canada in six months, here in Alberta. She is frustrated because she is still waiting there (it has been 6 months now)
Does anybody know how long it takes for an adopted baby by a recently Canadian citizen it takes to get the visa and come back here ???
