Hello there !
Just a quick one from all experts. Do we have to have blood relations in canada to gain 5 points ? I looked around but couldnt find firm reply. Some even say that only a friend will do & some say blood relatives of primary applicant only can get you thru ? A bit confused on this, pls. help. Thanks in advance.

blood relative. you must be able to prove their legal status in Canada plus you must be able to prove your relationship to them. (connect the dots - so to speak)

Blood relatives of co-applicant are just fine too.

Blood relative is important but an uncle or an aunt is also a valid relative and can fetch you additional 5 points.

I have both uncle and aunt in canada, how can I prove the immigration that they are my relative....

Show the family tree ... from birth certificate how he / she is related to your parents.

My uncle is PR of canada.But now a days he is no physically available in canada.He has his own business in canada.Please tell me should i claim 5 points??if yes then waht kind of documents do i need??

you can try claiming 5 points but you will have to prove he is residing in Canada. You say he is not. What may end up happening is that you don´t get the 5 points and they start investigating what is happening with your uncle.
If you don´t need the 5 points I would not poke the bear.
