Subject: requesting urgent processing
  Hello

I am wondering if anyone can give me specifics with regards to the process of requesting urgent processing for a spousal sponsorship application.

I have completed stage 1 and waiting to hear when the local office recieves my file. Suggestions? Comments? Experiances?

Thank you, Sara

There is no process for requesting urgent processing for a spousal sponsorship application. CIC doesn´t accept urgent processing requests for spousal applications.

Thank you for your reply. I have read the manuals and reviewed the situations regarding this as well as spoken with and agent at CIC. That being said, yes there is.

Anyone that actually knows anything regarding my original post please feel free to reply.

Thank you

@ Sara

Sara please post what you think you found regarding "urgent processing".

Since sponsoring a spouse within Canada was eliminated from the Act when it was renewed in 2002 and not introduced again until February of 2005 as Public Policy what are your rights????

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2005/0504-e.asp

Currently CBSA interprets the Public Policy since the end of the PRRA as follows,

"You haven´t been approved stage one, so get on the plane".

Now persons who have to use Islamabad or Nairobi as their visa post because of regulation 11 for an overseas Spousal Sponsorship wait 29 & 28 months for processing of those files why do you think your situation is special?

What logical reason do you have that your sooooo special over others who are going through the process the correct way OUTSIDE of Canada that you should be processed so quickly?

I can just imagine the CIC Officer that gets your request for "urgent processing" saying to themselves lets fix this
----- and review her stage one approval. Hey Tom, Dick and Harry lets call her in for an interview then refuse her, she can´t appeal.

The next time your comment is questioned even by anonymous show the proof that you´re right or be quiet.

Well, Roy, to start off I believe you should request more specific information prior to jumping to conclusions regarding my case.

I did not apply inland, it is an outland application. So, that being said, I will have the right to appeal should I happen to need it. I am confident with regards to my case. It is strong and organized well.

I am the Canadian sponsor, stage 1 is approved. The VO currently has a processing time of 14 months.

There are several factors that have caused concern with my partners homeland. Of which, I stated in my request. I do not wish to give exact or personal details regarding my case. So please forgive my being evasive.

I believe I referred to the operation manuals as my proof. If anyone was that interested they could have simply googled it.

Roy,

I do have a question for you though. If you do not mind.
What is it exactly you do? Immigration lawyer?

You seem to be able to quote dates/laws and obviously have some background in immigration.

Shouldn´t you already know what I am talking about?

Oh, one other thing. You may be direct/blunt because possibly you feel that any other way is a waste of time.(I cannot say as I do not know you) None the less, your manner is completely appalling. The people that post here are human beings. We all deserve respect.

I came in asking a simple and clear question. You took it upon yourself to berate me and acuse me of not doing things correctly. Your holier than thou attitude was uncalled for to say the least.

I still do not see any evidence that CIC agrees to "urgent processing" under any terms in the Act, Regulations or in the Manuals.

What is the reason why you did not post your facts regarding "URGENT PROCESSING" this information would be something that many could take advantage of, if it existed. Anonymous says it doesn´t exist.

A full Spousal Appeal hearing takes one year just to schedule in the GTA.

Any person not collecting welfare or convicted of a criminal offence gets approved to be a Sponsor. No income issue required to sponsor a spouse or dependent child. Why do you think you´re so special????

The more trouble in any applicants homeland the greater the chance of a refusal based on Regulation 4.1 because they view that as a reason for the applicant to try to gain a benefit under the Act.

The manuals mean squat what is relevant is the Act and the Regulations. So copy and paste the manual that allows for CIC staff to give anyone "Urgent Processing" and tells them when the CIC can offer that processing!

Some husband with a wife in Kenya or Pakistan who has already waited two years would love to see your facts on "URGENT PROCESSING".

Now let me point out your attitude.

You replied to anonymous ***205.241.253 as follows,

(Anyone that actually knows anything regarding my original post please feel free to reply). I replied and included my website as I do always.

Then I said and I quote "The next time your comment is questioned even by anonymous show the proof that you´re right or be quiet".

You should have known the processing times for the applicants country before you started the process. Regardless of an In-Land or Overseas Spousal Application when you tell any Immigration Officer that regardless of how many files ahead of you at your Visa Post your partner file is it should be dealt with before all others it will cause extra scrutiny and longer processing.

Roy,

Why do you believe that I am so naive that I would actually post this information? Do your own job. Honestly this is information you should already know.

My original post stated I was looking for replies of experiance and or knowledge from OPs.

With regards to you asking why I am so special... I do not believe for one second I am more important than any other person applying to sponsor a spouse. I do however feel that if there is anyway to expedite the process lawfully, then why the heck wouldn´t I?

I have been apart from my partner for over 2 years as it was not safe for me to stay in his country. I brought our children here with me. They have not seen their father other than via skype in that time. Many nights I spend wiping tears and trying to calm them because they fear he will die. To me, yes, they are so special. They need their daddy.

I do not need to justify my actions or requests for urgent processing to you or anyone else other than perhaps the IO.

I do realize that we are not the only family to deal with this issue, I can only believe that by finding this information I have done all I can to re-unite my family.

My reply to the op was the part you edited out of your quote. The thank you for your reply ect... The section you chose to quote was to anyone else, as I said.

As for my spouse gaining anything under the Act you mentioned, I guess we will have to believe that the information provided with the application will allow the IO to know the truth. My husband wanted to stay in his country, I lived there untill it was, as mentioned above, unsafe. The only thing he will gain is his family. I am not familiar with the Act you referred to, I will be by this time tomorrow.

With regards to your demeanor, I will note that while you seem to have dampered it some, it is still abrasive. Instead of aknowledging your assumtions were completely unfounded you thought merely to say, and I quote "regardless" blah blah....

I was fully aware of the processing times prior to applying. I am unsure what your implying or why you mentioned it.

This is all pointless, and not beneficial to me what so ever. I hope everyone finds the information they need.

Good luck, take care and brighter tomorrows!

I decided to browse your website. Your a consultant, interesting....

You may want to update some of your sucess stories, if you have any. From a possible client perspective it does not convincing that the last case your using as an advertisement was 2009. Surely you have had some winners since then.

Also, from a web developer point of view, (if you can) you should revamp the layout of your site. There are many more "up to date" adjustments that would improve it on esthetic & funtionality levels.

With regards to Act 4.1

Again I am utterly appalled by the contemptuous accusations. You do not know me from Adam, yet you still try to insinuate you have even the slightest bit of knowledge regarding me or my case.

You are over zealous to the extreme! Who the hell do you think you are? People come here to gain insight to ask questions, looking for help.

I am not the only one you have treated in this manner. You disgust me thoroughly. I can only imagine the amount of people you have swindled in your years of "practice"!

You obnoxiously continue to insult me by assuming you know my case details, but you only give quality proof to your own ignorance.

I abhor the thought that it is the likes of you I call a fellow Canadian. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Be sure of the path for which you have chosen, you will answer for your actions...your day will come and you will be Judged...

Don't look to others, I myself also is scenery (in reply to: requesting urgent processing)
People came to this world, there are many is unpleasant, also there will be many unfair; There will be a lot of lost, also can have a lot of envy. You envy my freedom, I envy you your constraints; You envy my car, I envy you your room; You envy my job, I envy you always have time to rest every day. Perhaps, we are all presbyopia, always live in others look; Perhaps, we are all nearsightedness, often ignore the side of happiness.
