Let me make it clear from the beginning. I Hold Brit passport, I don´t need visa to visit Canada. I visited several times. The honesty, the truth is that I never violated the law of Canada or anywhere else in the world. I never overstayed in Canada...I do not need to. At one point, in one of my visits, one of the dishonest Real Estate agent convinced me to buy a house (in good location) for good investment and high return. It turned out as scam. My official complaints against the agent and the lawyer involved are in record. But yet to find out something unique in Canada called "Buyer be aware". Hence I needed to visit in order to try get my money back in negative house market while paying annual heavy tax and basic utilities (not in use)to Canada. I never had problem at any airport in Canada but this time was my first ever in Montreal airport. I found the questions asked by immigration as provocative and inappropriate (I am not in denial of Canada´s need to protect border..no need for details but the langauge used was offensive and aggressive). I offered to go back to my country instead. I said "while you have power to refuse my entry, I have rights to go back and I refuse that kind of attitude...my humanity is above all". I was then taken to the back in a detention area, searched and the ordeal started there. I was abused verbally and physically..I repeat PHYSICALLY. They ganged around me and I was accused of overstaying and establishing illegal life in Canada. There was no one evidence. Even the emails they invaded, were taken from an iPad which is not mine but for a friend and nothing was directly related to me. I collapsed and Paramedics recommended my need for emergency hospital attention but I refused to go to hospital while handcuffed. I said "this is all against medical ethics". I asked clearly whether they have CCTV record in that detention area, or otherwise the violation of human rights is there. The answer was NO NO. I ws then thrown HAND CUFFED into a security track where I ended up in a place no different from Guantanamo Bay (if my imagination is right). After only 2 days of total isolation and disorientation from the whole world I was taken HAND CUFFED to what I knew later as court hearing. The honorable judge expressed her shock and sorrow of what happened to me in airport and later but she warned me that she had limited power on that and on them as a whole. There was no one concrete evidence as when I left Canada last visit. I was isolated from the whole world so I could not get testimony or hard evidence of where I had been. I said to the judge "thu I am not a lawyer, when there is lack of concrete hard evidence, the outcome normally go in favour of the defendant, or otherwise the defendant in some cses can get excuted or hanged for little evidence". I was shocked when the judge said: "immigration officers were given power to do everything..anything". I then asked for CCTV record at interrogation detention area, but there was silence and no response from the prosecutor and judge. I was then given exclusion order. Fine, I said I wanted to return back from airport why did I end here? no answer. The hearing was like a joke..like legalizing the crime. There was long debate (must be recorded) as to where I should be sent. I asked clearly that on my own expense I should have freedom to go where I wanted. But prosecutor insisted that "I should be sent to the airport I came from (which was connected flight..not where I started journey). The removl officer I met after another 2 days said "that is not correct..You will be sent back to your country and same airport from which you started your flight". Dilemma and dilemma. I was then assured that security would take me to pass the airport passport securities and from there, I could hold my passport, like any passenger...FREE TO GO. That turned out as big lie. My ordeal in return was as bad as what happened to me at entry. I asked again about CCTV record but it became clear that no record and that is done for purpose. If one is handcuffed and tortured , how can that helpless one prove his/her case. When back, I emailed the removal officer as to why I was treated badly again and different from what he assured me earlier. No answer yet. In the detention centre, I was approached by RED CROSS, REFUGEE ORGANIZATION and AMNNESTY INTERNATIONAL. They are still interested.
One reader may jump (ignoring what I had been through) and say" there must be reason for all that. In this forum, I am anonymous and I told you the truth no more no less. The Brit High Commission were informed but seems rather slow or useless hopeless.
Is this Canada? where can one go from here
